Ollie is a good little fellow, but a bit shy.  He came from a hoarder in WV.  He is very loving and enjoys being held.  He is very smart. With patience and loving chin rubs, he will be in your lap and sleeping with you. Ollie, because of his size and breed, would do best in a calm home with possibly older kids or no kids. Once you win his trust, he will want to be in your lap and follow you everywhere! Ollie LOVES balls and is getting really good at fetch! He does well on a leash and loves going for walks. Ollie struggles with car rides, but is working on learning a car ride is a good thing. Ollie also is working on social skills. He gets overwhelmed when company comes or he goes out. He is working on getting over it but will need somone with paitence, a soft touch, and time to help him work through it. Ollie is a sweet boy who just wants to be loved and deserves to have a safe home with a loving family to call his own! 

Please remember hoarder dogs are not socialized like other dogs. They will take time and patiences to win them over. Ollie is one smart dog and comes out of his shell quickly. He is picking up social skills fast with positive reinforcement. In my experience, hoarder dogs become the most loyal and loving dog you ever could have! It is like they want to repay their human for taking them in and giving them a good life. Ollie is no different. If you feel you can offer Ollie his forever home, please feel out an application.    

His adoption donation includes neutering, vaccinations, implanting of a microchip, application of flea meds and worming.

Ollie is in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting him. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.
